Process
We pride ourselves in supplying accurate estimates based on any information supplied:

- Check plans to ensure floor plans, elevations & details match each other
- Quantify all items on floor plan to ensure the correct amount of items have been estimated
- Check all wall framing to ensure the right size timber jambs have allocated
- Check all cladding requirements to ensure the correct head flashings, WANZ Bars or sill flashings have been allocated to the right cladding
- Checking that glass quoted meets the current glazing standard i.e. where safety glass is required
- Check I-values of all internal members (i.e. mullions, overlite transoms, door stiles, coupling bars, etc.) for strength requirements. We can allow extra stiffening when required.
- Check panel weights and sizes to ensure stays, rollers and bifold bogeys are not overloaded and within technical guidelines.
- Spec large, double-glazed units with your nominated glass supplier
- Check unit weights for site glazing requirements.
- Request and allow for subcontractor quotes for site glazing, winding gear, curving, installation, etc.
- Request and allow for technical support if required for oversize/complicated/specific design units.
- We can deal directly with your clients and architects to get questions answered quickly and free up your time.
- Add additional tags to each item and at the end of the quote to make things very clear for you and your client.


Rates
We have five levels of rates which are related to the complexity of the job, or we can tailor make a pricing structure to suit your business needs. Please see our attached job rates.
Lead Times
You should expect your quotes back within the target return times on the attached quoting rates.
- We aim to return tenders two working days before tendering closes. Returning tenders any earlier runs the risk of having to be requoted because of changes in NTT’s.
Sometimes a large number of jobs may arrive all together which will cause the return-times to extend out which means I’ll put in extra hours to get the jobs done. On receipt of the job being emailed to us we will get back to you with a date we should have the job completed by..


To start the estimation process
Upload plans and site measure’s into our Work Management program or email as a PDF or as a drop box link.
Jobs will be completed in your X1 system and ready for you to either edit the quote or for the ordering of materials for manufacture – no re-entering is required.
We will send an email with tags when the job is complete. Any subcontractor quotes or other quote paperwork will be attached to this quote.
